Akshay Tritiya – Abundance – Torna

It’s about the connection with this soil, which the body responds to. Chords of connectivity condense up with every trek, and the alignment with prakriti becomes second nature. Thus a circadian rhythm begins to surface in our existence, pouring out the endorphins, serotonin and dopamine nurturing us inside out.

This was a daring outing by just the two of us with my friend, Archana from Rock the Roots.

On the evening of Akshay Tritiya, we set out at the base of Torna, driving through the swirling dark and lonely roads, to finally settle in our tents.

Interestingly Akshay Tritiya is the most celebrated day of abundance. Torna is the fort, which Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj conquered and received abundant gold pots to build his vision of Swarajya. On this day I offer my invocations unto this same soil for blessing us with abundance of everything that is needed to align with that lofty vision, and be an instrument of dharma.

Sometimes the universe carves out opportune moments, which become doors to amazing environments, otherwise inconceivable to a planned human mind. Dear Universe, I am open to receive anything and everything for our highest and greatest good.
