Earthing in Sandhan Valley
Stepping from rock to rock made the journey into the Sandhan Valley, an experience which tapped into various inner layers of my existence.
The mighty, stable earth rumbled, and it’s slight movement split and sliced to form a ridge like valley… and tiny sized humans delight in moving up and down it’s now solidified trajectory. How many significant ‘me’s are part of this massive existence?
It’s a humbling thought, and yet the narrow width of the valley pressing down on me creates a sense of individuality and freedom.
This second largest valley in Asia sheltered us for several hours from the scorching heat towards the cool steadiness of the rocks that stand as sliced earth flanked by two hills.
All this with hearty friends, and sturdy trek leaders Krushna and Lokesh, who grew up in the Sahyadaris; hence their established relationship with the mountains.

Living off the tents
How easy it is to earth out the current of stress out of our bodies into the earth?
Rocks of the earth and bones in our bodies,
Rivulets of the earth and hormones and blood vessels,
Expanse of the open sky, and extended ‘space’ between our vertebrae,
Does there seem a co-relation?
Creation – an integral part of our internal universe is our external universe
Engaging deeply with prakriti enhances our sense of nourishment.
