Rustic tent stay with only solar light – no market, no humans, no civilization. We were now in the deep valleys of the great Himalayas.

The freezing night broke into a beautiful morning of unheard birds and unseen beauty, as I warmed up with some sukshma vyayam leading to some of the most memorable moments in shirshasana. The spread of praan in the body was unfathomable.

Dinners and lunches were cooked on firewood with locally available ingredients, and steaming food on our plates became cold in just a few minutes!
